„Content Curation“ ist eines der aktuellen Schlagworte in Corporate Learning. Denn es gibt ja im Netz keinen Mangel an Informationen oder Lerninhalten. Und wir suchen gleichzeitig nach Wegen, damit aus dem einmaligen Kurstermin eine kontinuierliche Auseinandersetzung mit einer Sache wird. Hier ist Content Curation eine Antwort.

Wenn man im nächsten Schritt für eine Zielgruppe Inhalte kuratieren will („… you becoming the filter and sense maker of information“), muss man wissen, welche Themen sie beschäftigen, wie sie Informationen erhalten möchten, usw. Man sollte Wege kennen, um wichtige Informationen zu finden, wie z.B. mit Hilfe von Alerts, Newslettern oder Twitter.

Es bleibt aber eine Hürde: Denn als Learning Professional kann ich wahrscheinlich nur Inhalte über Weiterbildung suchen, einordnen und teilen. Auf fachliches Terrain werde ich mich nicht begeben. Also ist es naheliegend, meine Zielgruppen zu „Content Curators in eigener Sache“ zu machen. Content Curation als Teil des persönlichen Wissensmanagements.

‘Learning and development must treat change like wearing new shoes – uncomfortable but worth it’

In einem Special Feature des Raconteur, „Future of Learning“, der in der britischen Times veröffentlicht wurde, macht sich auch Andy Lancaster (CIPD) über den Wandel von Learning & Development Gedanken. Seine Punkte:

„First, we have to ensure that L&D is driven by business need, …“
„This also means changing the style of learning. … we need to deliver learning in smaller chunks of content …“
„Options for self-directed learning are crucial to meet learning needs.“
„L&D now has a role that is far more that of a curator than a creator.“
„Finally, we have to focus on learning effectiveness, what we measure and how we measure it. … L&D professionals must focus on the outputs and impact of their work, not how many training sessions they provide.“

Leider werden – bis auf die Rolle des „Curators“ – vor allem Klassiker aufgezählt. Dass L&D zum Treiber und Mitgestalter neuer, offener, partizipativer und vernetzter Arbeits- und Lernprozesse wird, passte wohl nicht in den Kontext der Beilage, die vor allem noch einmal die Notwendigkeit des lebenslangen Lernens unterstreichen soll.
